For all the promises of God are “Yes” in Christ!

—2 CORINTHIANS 1:20

Present the promise of God, and then believe without a doubt. Do not wait to feel special emotions before you think the Lord answers. Do not mark out some particular way that the Lord must work for you before you believe you receive the things you ask of him; but trust his word, and leave the whole matter in the hands of the Lord, with full faith that your prayer will be honored, and the answer will come at the very time and in the very way your heavenly Father sees is for your good; and then live out your prayers. The Youth’s Instructor, September 1, 1886

Inspirational Card

We should hold convocations for prayer, asking the Lord to open the way for the truth to enter the strongholds where Satan has set up his throne, and dispel the shadow he has cast athwart the pathway of those whom he is seeking to deceive and destroy. — The Review and Herald, April 30, 1908

The lessons of Christ were illustrated so clearly that the lowest and most simple-minded could readily comprehend them. Jesus did not employ long and difficult words in His discourses, but used plain language, adapted to the minds of the common people. — Testimonies for the Church Volume 4, p.260

How may we pray for you?

PRAY IN FAITH. “THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT OVERCOMES THE WORLD, EVEN OUR FAITH.” PREVAILING PRAYER IS THE PRAYER OF LIVING FAITH; IT TAKES GOD AT HIS WORD, AND CLAIMS HIS PROMISES.
